Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag

Assassin’s Creed, AC 4, Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, black flag

Assassin’s Creed has a bad reputation of overusing its themes and being ordinary, but with the "Black Flag" I think the game is quite good.

Assassins’ Creed IV: Black Flag is a sequel to 2012's Assassin's Creed III's modern story and a prequel to its historical storyline. The storyline is set in the crystal clear seas of the Caribbean during the early 18th century were Sea Piracy is at its Golden Age. Your character is Edward Kenway, he is the grandfather of Assassin's Creed III (American Revolution) hero Connor Kenway (Ratonhnhaké:ton). He used to be a Welsh privateer before turning into a pirate because of lure of gold and riches.

The character seems to have a superhuman ability in acrobatics, as Edward can easily shimmy across high towers without any difficulties. The combat is well refined and more engaging from the previous Assassin's Creed. You can also use numerous pistols and the rope dart is back in action.

The game will let you explore the high seas of the Caribbean jumping from one deserted islands to another. Those lush and deserted islands are everywhere in the archipelago. The great thing about it is that despite of the high resolution of the Carribean the players won't be bothered by a loading screen. However, you will get the loading screen in cutscenes and in-game portals for large cities.

In the game, there will be tons of pirate ships and treasures. You will explore the open water of the Caribbean using Kenway’s flagship, the Jackdaw. The ship will need to be fitted and upgraded to make it more seaworthy and battle larger enemy ships.

You will also noticed that the improve sea battle with drumbeats and fast tempo music in the background.  The combat is well balanced and the exploration is one of the best among other Assassin's Creed game.
